Closures and Events
Bright Schoolhouse follows a predictable annual calendar of closures. Calendars are provided in early new year for the following academic year.
The academic year begins the 1st Tuesday of September. The year end with the conclusion of the 2nd week of June. Closures include Federal Holidays, a 2 day October Fall Break, 5 days at Thanksgiving, Winter Break to mirror WLWV, 8 days for Spring Break, and 2 days end of April/Early May. There are no early outs and no half days or professional developmental closures.
